Terry ITV did use Gazza as a pundit for the 2002 World Cup. It was as you’d expect Think his first words were ... ‘Ive never even heard of Senegal’

Geordies know how to speak English properly.
"Boat" has obviously got two syllables...
For that matter, so has "moat"...

On Monday, the first day of the trial, his alleged victim described the ex-footballer as having been drunk and noisy on the train, and having kissed her “forcibly and sloppily on the lips” after she tried to move away from him.
Kissed her sloppily on the lips FFS !!!!
And some of you want to hang him out to dry.
He looked pretty healthy on the news today so he must have one hell of a Liver.
Good luck Paul and thanks for the football memories.

I imagine he still thinks he’s a cheeky 22 year old rather than a weird old lech stumbling around a train carriage.

Lato, good point.
One of the comments that most amused me on this website was at the time of the Raoul Moat story, as it was unfolding. Gazza turned up with his fishing rod and bargain bucket, and some unremembered wag on here said "I would pay good money just to hear Gazza pronounce 'Raoul Moat'.

As for Gazza getting a job, couldn't we get rid of one of the increasing number of wimmin pundits on 'mens football' and let him entertain the nation accordingly. He would have to concentrate for a few hours at a time of course, though Merson seems to get away with constant verbal repetition and inability to pronounce players names correctly.

Sad that he's ended up like this. He doesn't seem well and if he's back on the booze then you can't see him being around much longer.

It’s sad isn’t it, I find it hard to dislike the guy though. That goal against Scotland, what a cunt.
